Originally established in 1946 as the March Royal British Legion Club, the club was created to support veterans of the armed services and quickly became an important part of the local community. Situated in a historic Grade II listed building on West End beside the river, the club has remained a valued social hub for generations. In 2016, the club was proudly renamed the Rookswood Club, continuing its long-standing tradition of bringing people together while supporting local groups, charities, and community events.
Over several weekends in April, we were proud to assist and support the construction of the Rookswood Club’s brand-new summer garden. This project was all about giving back to the local community by helping create a welcoming outdoor space for members, families, veterans, and local residents to enjoy. Working together through teamwork, volunteering, and community spirit, we were honoured to play a part in improving a venue that continues to serve and support the people of March and the surrounding area.
