On Sunday, 28th June, our SGT at Arms attended a community outreach event in Manchester alongside the Punishers LEMC, organised by the Heart of Manchester Italian Volunteers Association.

Together, we distributed cold food, drinks, and essential supplies to people experiencing homelessness throughout central Manchester. Clothing was provided through the generosity of public donations, while additional food was also donated by members of the public. Fresh sandwiches were kindly supplied by San Carlo Restaurant, where several members of the Punishers LEMC are employed. Splitting into two groups, we began our outreach at approximately 1800 hrs on a warm Sunday evening. It was a truly humbling experience to offer a small measure of comfort and support to those less fortunate than ourselves, including a young woman who was six months pregnant.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Punishers LEMC for inviting us to assist with this worthwhile initiative, and to the Heart of Manchester Italian Volunteers Association for the incredible work they continue to do within the community.

As Custodians MC, we are proud to stand alongside them and continue giving back to the communities we serve. For our SGT at Arms, whose birthplace is Manchester and where much of his family still lives, the event held particular personal significance.
